Bio
I am a digital humanist and research software developer with a background in history and digital humanities. My work focuses on the design and development of digital research infrastructures and web applications supporting research, teaching and cultural heritage studies. I develop solutions tailored to the scholarly and technical requirements of each project.
My projects combine web technologies with methods from the digital humanities, including digital editions, knowledge representation, linked open data and user-centred design. I am particularly interested in making complex scholarly resources accessible through clear information architecture and intuitive interfaces.

Hobbies
Things I enjoy doing when I am away from the screen.
3D Modeling and Printing
I enjoy turning my ideas and projects in three dimensions. Seeing a digital model become physical, layer by layer, is one of the most satisfying parts of the process.
Cooking and Pastry
Cooking is probably the most literal side of FrauParma: recipes, timing, textures and small details, not so different from designing a website.
Diving
I am a certified PADI Scuba Diver. Diving is about focus, awareness and control, a completely different environment where every movement matters and preparation is essential.
